How we differ from other tools

Most build planners let you pick gear and show you a stat sheet — they don't explain WHY one setup outperforms another. nioh3-tools.com breaks down every multiplicative layer of Nioh's damage formula: passive bonus %, debuff %, set tier contributions — and presents a composite multiplier index for relative comparison.

Formula limitations

Nioh 3's base damage calculation (weapon familiarity × stat scaling) remains a community black box. We deliberately don't show "seconds to kill boss X" — that would be misleading. Instead we focus on relative multipliers: if Build A's composite index is 12% higher than Build B, it'll roughly outperform by that much in practice.
